Boothbay ? Crews will be installing traffic counting sensors in the pavement in Boothbay on Monday, May 21st, and Tuesday, May 22nd. (Rain date is Thursday, May 24th) The installation will be on Route 27, approximately 50 feet north of the intersection of the River Road, extending southerly for 500 feet.
Due to alternating one-way traffic through the work zone, flaggers will assist motorists from 9am to 3pm while the work is being conducted.
This project supports our Traffic Monitoring Program, which provides the number of vehicles and changes in travel patterns on our roads throughout the year.
