South Portland ? Pavement preservation work along with drainage and safety improvements will begin at the intersection of Broadway and Route 77 in South Portland on Wednesday, June 22nd.
The project will begin at the intersection of Broadway and Route 77 and extend 0.87 of a mile to the Cape Elizabeth-South Portland town line.
On Wednesday, June 22nd, work will begin to improve the sidewalks along this stretch.
Beginning on June 27th, crews will begin milling the pavement surface along with catch basin and manhole adjustments, followed by paving and final striping. Motorists are urged to use caution through the work zone as there will be alternating one-way traffic assisted by flaggers.
It is anticipated all work will be completed at the end of July.
Glidden Excavation & Paving of Gorham will perform this $438,000 project.
