Portland ? Night time paving work continues on I-295 from Scarborough to the Portland/Falmouth town line. Motorists need to be aware that this week, a number of on and off-ramps will be worked on from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
Monday, August 26th: Exit 6B on and off ramps for pavement ?milling.? Drivers will need to use Exit 7 to Marginal Way to exit to Franklin Street to enter and exit I-295
Tuesday, August 27th: Exit 6A off ramp and Exit 7 on ramp for pavement ?milling.? (north and southbound access will be affected) Motorists will need to use Exit 7 to Marginal Way for exit to Franklin Street and use Forest Avenue for entrance onto I-295
Wednesday, August 28th: Exit 6B on and off ramps for paving. Motorists will need to use Marginal Way to Franklin Street for entrance onto I-295
Wednesday, August 28th: Exit 6A off ramp for paving. Drivers will need to use Exit 7 to Marginal Way for exit to Franklin Street then turn onto Marginal Way
Thursday, August 29th: Scarborough Connector on ramp in South Portland for ?milling.? Motorists will need to enter I-295 northbound and exit at Exit 5 to turn onto the Parkway
Thursday, August 29th: Route 1A on ramp to Veterans Bridge in South Portland for ?milling.? Motorists will need to enter I-295 northbound and exit at Exit 5 to turn onto the Parkway
Message boards will be in place prior to the start of work. Crews will attempt to adhere to the schedules, but all work is weather dependent.
