Bridge in Milo Temporary Closed

Milo ? Crews will be replacing the existing deteriorated concrete bridge deck on the Pleasant River Bridge in Milo, which spans the Pleasant River.

The project will necessitate the closure of the bridge for approximately 35 consecutive days beginning on September 4th, while workers install a new concrete wearing surface. In addition, there will be curb and guardrail improvements, all being performed by Lane Construction.

The work zone is 100 ft. on the approach to the bridge, extending 100 ft. upon exiting the bridge, making the entire work area 500 ft. in length.

Traffic will be detoured to Route 11 north onto the Stickney Hill Road in Brownville. Motorists will proceed to the Stanchfield Ridge Road back to Milo, then to the Lakeview Road.

It is anticipated the project will be completed in the second week of October.
